The Longest Type of Flight

So we arrived at the Changi International Airport last night at midnight after the longest type of flying ever.  Every time we do this we know it is going to suck, but we are so happy to be here.

Fun Fact: Our pilot's name: John Die.

This kid is ready to go.

Our longest flight was from Chicago to Tokyo which was about 13 wonderful hours.  We watched 4 movies each on this leg.

Jason: The Adjustment Bureau (A), Beastly (C-), The Eagle (B), and Wall-E (A+).
Wesley: The Adjustment Bureau (A), The Dish (B), The Eagle (B+), Cedar Rapids (A-).

When we got to Tokyo, mims PTFO immediately:

Nice Modern Azn "chair"

The last flight was pretty long, but not as bad.  We were ready to be in Singapore and luckily didn't have to sit next to anyone (too big).
28 hours down, 2 to go!

We got in and Aunty Kok Huang picked us up.  We stopped by a 24-hour noodle shop since we were hungry and got our first meal in Singapore:
It wasn't AMAZING, but it was a good first take out bowl of kway teow soup!

Goals for this trip so far:
-Take caroline somewhere cool for her birthday (july 2)
-Eat a lot
-Find pickup and play some ultimate
-Go visit the crazy awesome new hotel with the infinity pool and casino
-Find salak/snakefruit for Sam Camera
-Not die in Phuket

More to come, we are going to try and make this entertaining and enjoyable for all ages!

Picture we took for caroline on facebook while she still had 15 hours to go (she left a day later).
